Welcome to The Champion School Drama Club!
Our Drama Club has been chartered as a Junior Thespian Troupe #89129. The Junior Thespian Society is an honor society for student actors. Students must earn points in order to be inducted into this prestigious organization. In order to be inducted into the Junior Thespian Society through our school, students must join the Champion Drama Club. Students can also earn points outside of our organization, but by joining the Drama Club, you will have opportunities to track your points and become eligible for membership.
Drama Club students participate in our annual production (see EVENTS page for more info). Additionally, we go to the Junior Thespian Festival, which is a national middle school theatre festival that travels to different parts of the country. It is a weekend filled with learning and performance opportunities! Additionally, we participate in the GA Junior Thespian Festival. These festivals provide opportunites for students to immerse themselves in the world of performing arts from technical to performance aspects as well as to compete/put up work for evaluation by industry professionals.
