2020 DCSD Technology Fair Winners
We are excited to announce that our Champion Scholars represented us well in the DCSD Technology Fair on Saturday, January 25th. We had 21 students to place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their respective categories. All first-place winners in each grade level are invited to participate in the GASTC-Georgia Student Technology Competition on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Kennesaw University. Those students that placed 1st are: Ji Ellis, George Bostic, Deshon Lamar, Joi Ector, Sydney Sargeant, and Colby Johnson. CHAMPS Male Mentoring Program
The mission of the C.H.A.M.P.S. Male Mentoring Program is to empower male students to take on leadership roles and realize their real potential at The Champion Theme MS and beyond by facilitating mentoring relationships, providing opportunities for community service, and teaching practical life skills. The program helps male student strengthen their self confidence, find their identity, and learn to wield influence and exercise responsibility and articulate and pursue self-determination. Please Click Here to Download the Application

Student ChromeBooks and Accessories
All students must have signed user agreement form from both the student and parent before being issued a ChromeBook. This user agreement may be completed via hard copy or online. The district has also found three different insurance vendors in the event the parent would like to purchase insurance. That information along with the online user agreement form can be found at the following link:
*Each ChromeBook will come with a case and a power adapter. In the event a student loses either of those items during the school year, they can be purchased at the link below:

School Cafeteria
School Nutrition is now accepting online applications via School Café. This website can be used to apply for free and reduced meal benefits and receive instant notification of status. Parents can also use School Café to make meal prepayments. Please visit  to 
PTSA Membership (MemberHub)
Please note we will be using a new system called MemberHub that will allow us to track and report PTSA membership more accurately. This will be our only method of accepting your required membership payment.

  2. Once you sign up you will receive a confirmation email shortly thereafter to complete the process. Once you are in MemberHub, all you have to do is click "shop" at the top. 
  3. The only items that you will be able to purchase through MemberHub at this time are your PTSA memberships and locks. PTSA membership will be verified through MemberHub and you will have the ability to download your membership card through your online receipt. Unfortunately locks are on back order and this will allow you to have an electronic receipt of your purchase for pick up later.

Champion Math Problem of the Week (March 4 to March 8)
Parents please assist your scholar in solving this weeks POWs using the UPSC Model (Understand, Plan, Solve & Check); which is used daily in our math classes. It is very important that you make your scholar complete, explain, and justify their answer using the strategy provided as we are working to create a community of problem solvers. The POW is due Wednesday, March 6th at 11pm.
