Final Project - Scene Work for Presentation

Students were able to choose either a Lip Sync, Acting or Costume Design final project.  Acting students have received scenes that they will have to present to the class for a presentation grade. We have been working on these scenes for several weeks in class.  I will assess based on the rubric that was sent home as well as connected to a link below.  Lip Sync is the same as Acting except instead of assessing Voice, I'll be looking at whether the project Meets Requirements.

Acting Transitions - Introduction, transition to character, final moment, exit
Characterization - Emotionally and physically believable character, committed to intention/goal of scene and reactions to real or implied partner
Voice - projection, articulation, variance of pitch, tempo, tone and inflection that communicate the character's emotions and subtext
Movement/Staging - gestures and facial expressions communicate emotion and actions are motivated and purposeful
Execution - Concentration and moment-to-moment choices, voice, body and emotional integration, tells a believable story

Students should have their lines for the scene completely memorized and will also have to submit the Character Analysis exercise work for the character they are portraying. - This will be during the Notebook Check.

ALL FINAL PROJECT ASSIGNMENT SHEETS MUST BE SIGNED BY A PARENT FOR A GRADE.
