Acting Final Project- Students have received scenes that they will have to present to the class for a presentation grade. I will assess based on the rubric that was sent home and is attached below.

Acting Transitions - Introduction, transition to character, final moment, exit
Characterization - Emotionally and physically believable character, committed to intention/goal of scene and reactions to real or implied partner

Movement/Staging - gestures and facial expressions communicate emotion and actions are motivated and purposeful
Execution - Concentration and moment-to-moment choices, voice, body and emotional integration, tells a believable story

Students should have their scenes completely memorized and should bring in props and costumes as appropriate.  They will also have to submit work for the character they are portraying. Please see the handout for additional details.
